OC Kids Consignment is not only a perfect place to find bargains but it is a great way to make some extra money. Why should you consign your items with us? We are here to help you and make the selling and recycling of your childrens items as easy as possible. You will profit more than you would selling at a garage sale and bartering prices with buyers, or selling online and having to ship items to other states and pay fees. You do not even have to be at the sale all you do is prepare, tag and drop off your items and we do the rest for you! 

 

 

Consignors will automatically receive 60% of each item that is sold. We charge a $15 consignors fee, which offsets the cost of advertising, building rental, clothing racks, and insurance. The $15 fee is due up front upon registration and can be paid via PayPal with all major debit/credit cards online. Consignors do have the potential of making quite a bit of money. The more items you sell the more you will profit. Larger items tend to sell very fast and for much more than you would think. Also if you sign up for just one 3 hour volunteer shift on any of our drop-off or sale days you can receive 65% off your total consignor sales. And if you sign up for two 3 hour volunteer shifts you will receive 70% of your total consignor sales!! Just sign up on our Volunteer Sign Up page. Each consignor can volunteer a maximum of 6 hrs per consignor! We would definitely appreciate all the help we can get, we rely on our volunteers to make our sale a success. 

 

 

You can set your own prices on everything you sell! We recommend selling items for about 60-90% off retail prices, but do keep in mind that the lower your item is priced the faster it will sell! Take time to look through your items carefully, and make sure you price all items no more than you would actually pay for them. Consignor's have the choice of donating their clothing after the sale or picking it up if items do not sell. We will be donating most of our clothing and toys to local charity organizations to help children and mothers in need. You will also have the choice to discount your items on our last day which is our 50% Sale Day. You will have both these options when you fill out your item tags online. 

 

 

After you register online each consignor will need to immediately schedule a drop off appointment to check in their items to our sale. Drop off should be no longer than 30 minutes depending on how much you plan on selling. At this time we will inspect each item and check for holes, stains, wear, and to make sure everything is in working condition. Each item has to be individually scanned in with our sale manager system to allow you to track all your items being sold at the sale at your own home. We will be rejecting all items that are outdated, stained, well worn, torn, not working, missing pieces, or dirty and faded. We want our sale to be know for having gently used items in excellent condition so we will be accepting only what our staff considers to be in "excellent used condition". 

 

 

The best part of being a consignor is that you get to participate in our two private Consignor Pre-Sale events before we open to the general public. We will be holding the Consignor Pre-Sale on Thursday June 23rd from 6pm-9pm. Also we will be allowing consignors to attend the Sunday Half-Off Pre-Sale! That means you will get into the sale Sunday June 26th at 8:00am before we open to the public so you get first pick from all our half off bargains. Don't miss out on these great opportunities. We have had problems in the past with people registering to sell and consign at our sale and they never end up participating so we can not get a exact consignor count before the sale begins. Because of this any consignors who Sign Up and Register for our sale and DO NOT Unregister (if they find they can’t or no longer want to participate for any reason) will be blocked and removed from registering for our Summer Sale.  

There will be no penalty for registering and then un-registering before
