What Can I sell?

We ask that all items be in excellent condition with no signs of wear or any damages such as odors, holes, tears, broken zippers, missing buttons, stains and wash and wear fading. All battery operated items must include batteries and be in working condition. We recommend keeping kids and maternity clothing items in the appropriate seasonal sale to be more beneficial to the consignor (for example Halloween Costumes should be sold at the Fall sale and Swimwear at the Spring or Summer sale etc...) You will have to check in every item being sold at the Drop-off Day and all unacceptable items will then be sent home with the consignor. This is only to maintain the highest level of quality items are being sold and is not meant to offend any consignor personally. We do reserve the right to refuse items that we feel are not acceptable to sell. We are all human and can overlook the occasional spot or hole, so we will be screening the items very closely because we want OC Kids Consignment to be known for selling top quality merchandise. Below are the items we will be accepting and not accepting:

• Clothing Sizes Newborn - Size 16 Years
• Maternity Clothing
• Shoes (only in very good used condition) 
• Toys (must be clean and in good working condition w/ batteries if needed)
• Highchairs
• All Strollers and accessories (clean and in good condition)
• Bouncer Seats
• Diaper Bags 
• DVD's/Video Games/VHS Tapes(with appropriate covers and in working condition/No R rated movies accepted)
• Books and Puzzles
• Costumes/Holiday Clothing
• Cribs/Bassinets (must include all pieces)
• Bedding/Blankets
• Bumbo Seats
• Diaper Pails (clean and free of odors)
• Hair Accessories/Hats 
• Socks and Tights
• Toddler Bed/Bedding
• Exersaucers
• Crib Mattresses
• Baby Carriers (Baby Bjorn, Slings, Moby Wraps etc...)
• Play Pens 
• Changing Tables
• Nursery Decor (lamps,wall hanging, rugs, etc..)
• Bike/Scooters
• Swings
• Bottles/Sippy Cups (new)
• Stuffed Animals (new or gently used only)
• Humidifier/Vaporizers
• Boppy Pillows and Covers
• Walkers
• Dress Up Clothing (Disney Princess etc..)
• Shopping Cart Covers
• Child Safety Items (gates, cabinet locks, bed rails etc..)
• Monitors

We will not accept any of the following items (no exceptions):

• Used Underwear or Diapers
• Pacifiers (unless brand new in package)
• Outdated or well worn clothing/shoes (they will not sell)
  
• Clothing items that are not for kids ages Newborn- Size 16 years
• Recalled Items
  

Remember that we will inspect all items at drop off appointments. But it is your responsibility to check the CPSC website http://www.cpsc.gov/cgi-bin/prod.aspx  for all recalled baby/kids items. Any items found that do not meet

high quality standards for safety and quality will be returned to you at drop-off.  We will also inspect all items during the sale, and reserve the right to “pull” items if ever necessary.
